How Much Notice Do You Need?
We would like three days’ notice, but can place someone within 24 hours if need be.
How Are Your Caregivers Selected?
All of our caregivers are thoroughly interviewed, reference checked and triple screened. Every caregiver is an employee of Nursing Personnel and is bonded and insured.
Who Pays The Caregiver?
We do. They are our employees and are paid through our regular payroll. We take care of all payroll taxes, insurance, social security and worker’s compensation.
What Are Your Rates?
Our rates for live-in and hourly care vary by category and geographic area, but are always affordable and competitive. For a specific quote, contact the office in the geographic area where the prospective patient will need care.
What Happens When The Nursing Personnel Caregiver Needs Time Off?
We provide a relief person with similar experience and expertise to cover for them.
Can You Do Five Days A Week If The Client’s Family Can Manage The Care On The Weekends?
Yes, we offer complete flexibility and can tailor a schedule to fit your needs.
Can You Provide Services For A Client In A Facility (Hospital, Nursing Home, Assisted Living Residence)?
Yes. We can provide services to care-facility residents who desire one-to-one companionship and personnel care.
How Do We Ensure The Attendance Of Our Staff To Put Your Mind At Ease?
We have a phone system that requires your home health aide to clock in when they arrive and clock out when they leave. If we do not receive a clock in, our office gets an alert and immediately contacts the patient and aide to ensure their safety and if need be, send a replacement.
If I Pay Privately For The Care, Is There A Minimum Of Hours Required Per Visit?
Yes. The minimum is 2 hours in the boroughs of Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx. In Queens and Staten Island, there’s a minimum of 4 hours per visit and in Long Island, there is a minimum of 5 hours per visit.

Is There A Minimum Of Visits Required?
No.
Does A Registered Nurse (RN) Oversee The Care?
Yes. A RN needs to conduct a home visit in order to start homecare and then the RN needs to oversee all the services provided to the patient at home.

May An Aide Escort The Patient To Doctors Appointments?
Yes. An aide may escort the patient anywhere within the service area, which includes all five boroughs and Long Island.

How Do I Sign Up For Service?
Services that are paid privately by the client, signing up is as easy as 1 … Sorry no 2 and 3 here …
Services billed to third party insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare, requires forms to be filled out by the Primary Care Physician (PCP) and we need to get the services pre approved.
Can We Service A Child?
Yes! We have specially trained Aides for pediatrics. We service babies from new born and up.

How Many Hours Can We Get For Home Care?
Most insurances will approve at least eight hours a week, depending on the patients' needs.
